Donate Stuffed Animals to a Great Cause!

Children’s Advocacy Law Society, International Law Society, La Raza, and Pride Law are teaming up to collect stuffed animal donations for Casa Cornelia’s Children’s Program.

The attorneys and volunteers at Casa Cornelia give undocumented children that have been detained a stuffed animal after their interview. The stuffed animal is used to help the children cope with trauma and soothe the anxiety they feel while in the detention center.  All sizes, shapes, and animals are welcomed.  Gently used stuffed animals are welcomed, just please be sure they are washed.

Casa Cornelia Children’s Program

Ladies and gentleman, it is that time of year again. Intramural soccer season is upon us. Last year California Western was lucky and skilled enough to bring home a title. Can we repeat this year? I think so. If you are interested in signing up for intramural soccer either as a team or as an individual, please email me at

If you are signing up a team, you must be signed up by Monday, October 19th. There will be a mandatory Captains’ meeting at Thomas Jefferson on the 22nd at noon. All games will be held at the Jackie Robinson YMCA. The fee to sign up a team is $200 with a $40 rebate for perfect attendance. I will be tabling in the next few weeks so lookout for the flyers. I hope to see you all on the pitch!
